The primary purpose of the Things To Be Done approach is to ease and enhance our use of retrospective thinking.
Retrospective thinking is a way of looking at progress by looking backward.
Instead of looking at progress through the lens of actions we plan to take, we will try to envision the future as if we’ve already been in it and look back at what needs to get done. Or, in other words - necessary achievements we had to establish.
